Unapologetic will have its Milwaukee Premiere at the 12th Annual Milwaukee Film Festival, as part of the Black Lens program. In 2014, Black Lens was created with a singular focus: to spotlight the incredible work of African-American filmmakers by bringing their films to the Milwaukee Film Festival. These filmmakers explore stories and topics that are rooted in the Black community but are relevant to a variety of audiences. Black Lens features fiction and documentary films from emerging and established voices and hosts events that inspire conversation, celebration, and community.
